Turn Your Experience Into Impact

You can lead the lessons and help shape the next generation of stylists. If you are a licensed professional ready to step in front of the classroom, Turning Point Beauty College’s 350-hour student instructor program can help you shift from doing the work to teaching the craft. You can learn about lesson planning, demonstrating techniques, and classroom management. Then you can start practicing those skills with real students under licensed oversight at our Phoenix or Chandler campuses.

Our instruction training program is available in multiple languages to keep training inclusive and accessible, and new classes form every two to four weeks. Get the training you need to prepare to sit for the Arizona instructor licensing exam.

We’ll show you how to make complex techniques feel simple and show students how to perform them confidently. Start the enrollment process today.

A Program Built Around Real Classroom & Clinic Coaching

Move from stylist to mentor through our Student Instructor Training program. Your days in our Chandler or Phoenix campus will be a blend of theory and practice. You’ll learn about writing learning objectives, how to demonstrate techniques clearly and confidently, and tips for assessing student performance. Once you have the theory down, you can move on to the clinic floor, where you work with real beauty college students. You’ll shadow instructors as you learn how to coach on sanitation techniques, timing, and client communication. It’s a mix of classroom and hands-on learning that helps you develop your teaching and coaching skills.

You learn to teach by actually teaching. Our faculty stay close for debriefs and help you see what worked, what to try next time, and how to help struggling learners. Training happens in multiple languages, so you can learn and teach in the language that helps you communicate best.
You can complete the Student Instructor Program in as little as 20 weeks, depending on your schedule and attendance. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. For a more accurate timeframe, talk to the admissions team.

See What Our Students Have To Say

I had such an amazing experience visiting Lush Nail Salon for a field trip! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The salon itself was spotless, beautifully organized, and had such a relaxing vibe. They took the time to explain their techniques, products, and the importance of nail care and hygiene, which made the visit both fun and educational.
