Arizona’s Hairstylist license requires 1,000 hours focused on hair, while Cosmetology requires 1,500 hours and adds skin, basic makeup, and nail services to the curriculum. Both routes train you to prepare to sit for the Arizona State Board exam for the license you pursue.

Today we went on a field trip to 3 salons in the area. My personal favorite was the first salon. The staff seemed very welcoming and the salon was very well decorated.
