Turning Point Beauty College believes in making your desired career in beauty accessible and achievable. Our Financial Aid team is here to help you explore your options and create a financial plan to fund your training. If you’re thinking about enrolling in cosmetology, hair design, nail technology, or aesthetics, know that you can make beauty school more affordable through federal financial aid and scholarships. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.
Learn more about your financial aid options. If you have any questions about the FAFSA, school payment plans, or the cost of your education, contact our Financial Aid team.
If you are already in process for applying for FAFSA our school ID number is: 038143
We encourage all prospective students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application is free and is the starting point to determine your eligibility for many forms of educational funding. You can fill out the FAFSA® for free online. To apply, you’ll need:
Questions while you complete the FAFSA®? Contact Financial Aid, and they’ll walk you through it.
Complete the FAFSA®: Submit your FAFSA® at the official site. If available, use the IRS retrieval tools to reduce errors and streamline processing.
Review eligibility & your SAR: After processing, you’ll receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). Bring it to the Financial Aid office so they can estimate your Pell eligibility and federal loan options, confirm any VA or workforce resources, and outline next steps to finalize your file.
Build your financial plan: Together, you’ll compare federal, state, and community options plus in-house monthly/bi-monthly payment plans to create a plan that fits your budget and schedule. Borrow only what you need. The team will explain repayment and timing.
Pell Grant: The Pell Grant is a need-based federal grant and does not require repayment. It is awarded based on your financial need.
Subsidized Loans: Subsidized loans are need-based, with the government covering the interest while you are in school, during the grace period, and during deferment. Eligibility is determined based on financial need.
Unsubsidized Loans: Unsubsidized loans are not need-based, and interest begins accruing from the time the loan is disbursed. While you have the option to defer interest payments until after graduation, choosing to pay interest while in school can save you money in the long run.
GI Bill® Educational Benefits: As a certified institution by the Department of Veterans Affairs, we proudly offer educational benefits under the GI Bill®. Veterans and their eligible family members can take advantage of this support.
As an accredited institution, we offer a variety of financial aid options for eligible students at our Phoenix and Chandler campuses. Our dedicated staff is ready to help you explore options and determine your eligibility.
We also accept various payment methods for tuition:
